On Monday 6th November the I Ibero-American Forum on Design and Design Research was held at the Casa de Am\u00e9rica, during which the Research Coordinator and Researcher-Teacher of the ESDA, Dr Francisco Javier Ser\u00f3n Torrecilla, presented the collaboration and research project that was carried out over two years in collaboration with the Ibercivis Foundation, Zaragoza City Council, FECyT. A project that in the design part emphasizes the importance of working with our students in a transdisciplinary way to value the competences of the future in their professional field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the second day of the forum, the round table discussion took place, in which ESDA acted, through its research coordinator, as moderator. It was attended by the Directors of the Higher Schools of Design of Valencia (Rosa Esteban), Madrid (Marina Arespacochaga) and Aragon (Luisa Pellegero), as well as a person in charge of the EA 10 in Madrid (Gabriel Mart\u00ednez). The round table on research-design from the Higher Schools of Design debated and reflected on the problems and difficulties inherent to these institutions and the future of research activity in the Higher Schools of Design in view of the new Law on Higher ADEs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
