\"OXYMORON: Discontinuous thread...\"<\/strong> is a combination of opposing meanings that give rise to a new meaning, such as the representation of ideas that are resolved through textiles, carried out by the students of the Fashion Design speciality. With this exhibition, the Escuela Superior de Dise\u00f1o de Arag\u00f3n has tried to reflect on current design in this specific field and to work on topics of interest such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The importance of Ideate, Experiment and Conceptualise<\/strong> as powerful tools with which students can obtain truly meaningful and critical work, giving special importance to the process carried out in the different projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Environmental Commitment<\/strong>We are committed to sustainability and upcycling, in response to the prevailing fast-fashion and its problems. We demand a more sustainable fashion with the priorities of reducing the environmental impact throughout the production chain, using more ecological materials or materials with less impact and reducing the environmental pollution of the products manufactured.

The Social Commitment<\/strong> has served to open the doors to the practice of interventions, educational experiences and research in Design and Social Innovation, cooperating with other schools, different partners and developing various types of projects with communities that are in disadvantaged situations such as asylum seekers, political asylum or groups at risk of social exclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, at ESDA, the ability to anticipate and adapt to the constant changes in the world of work is considered fundamental. Technological Changes<\/strong>. For this reason, the exhibition has brought together a small sample of audiovisual works that highlight the relevance of digital tools applied to fashion design.

This performance also featured more artistic pieces that invite thought and reflection. Reflection<\/strong>The starting point is our place of origin or rescuing from oblivion trades and processes that are disappearing, making them a backbone from which new pieces are born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, the exhibition is intended to show our appreciation for the work carried out in the form of the Interdisciplinary<\/strong> and to work in this way the projects obtained are much richer and more interesting. Photography, accessories, styling, etc... are some of the samples present in \"OXIMORON\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
