Vorne Store<\/em> has been for four years, more than a clothing shop, a reference in the city. It was a place that exuded a taste for handmade, local and conscientious products, as well as combining it with events, a caf\u00e9 and a workshop-lab where they made their own collections.<\/p>\n

Ruth Sope\u00f1a Pe\u00f1as and Borja Sim\u00f3n Serrano gave us the opportunity to have in our historic centre, a little corner that transported us to a business idea within the textile industry, more typical of Holland than of the capital of the wind.<\/p>\n

This year, following the pandemic, they closed the physical space, but with Vorne clothing<\/em> are still working on new womenswear collections for the SS21 season and a new line of baby clothes.<\/p>\n

Yesterday at ESDA, he told us about his experiences and lessons learned, as well as other important topics for a new fashion designer, such as the costs involved in starting a business, how to calculate the RRP of a garment, the margins between designer and shop, how to get it right with the stock<\/em>production processes or how to arrange the product in a showroom<\/em>.<\/p>\n
