Last school year, from the subject of Projects III<\/strong> the fashion design students worked in groups for the design of a set design costume collection<\/strong>The resulting short film, brought to the field of animation by the company LCS Audiovisual. The resulting short film: \"Chomon the incoherent\".<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On the occasion of the 151st anniversary of the birth of the Teruel-born filmmaker Segundo de Chom\u00f3n, this audiovisual work has been produced and is now being released.<\/p>\n

LCS audiovisual, inspired by Agust\u00edn S\u00e1nchez Vidal's biography \"El Cine de Chom\u00f3n\", presents an animated story of the pioneer from Teruel, whom Manuel Guti\u00e9rrez Arag\u00f3n calls \"the artist of the subconscious\", to put this outstanding figure of Aragonese culture into context.<\/p>\n

Mixing reality and fiction, the pioneers of cinema and animation in the Paris of the Belle \u00c9poque coincide on the same stages: the Lumiere brothers, Alice Guy, M\u00e9li\u00e8s and D'Alcy, the Incoherent Emile Cohl, \u00c9mile Reynaud, Julienne and Chomon.<\/p>\n

They were accompanied by a number of leading figures in Montmartre culture, such as Erik Satie, Alfred Jarry, Suzanne Valadon and Toulouse-Lautrec. A generation we admire, forerunners of the avant-garde, of surrealists and Dadaists, at a time of optimism, of progress, when science and culture were advancing hand in hand.<\/p>\n
