Photo competition #ErasmusPlus

at Twitter e Instagram

The Representation of the European Commission in Spain launches today and until 12 February the #ErasmusPlus competition on Twitter and Instagram to mark the launch of the Erasmus Plus programme.

#ErasmusPlus is a competition that challenges citizens to tell people on Twitter and Instagram what Erasmus means to them. The aim is to raise awareness of the unification under one name, Erasmus Plus, of all the European Commission's training programmes (Comenius, Leonardo da Vinci, Erasmus and Grundvitg) and Youth in Action programmes (such as the European Voluntary Service, among others).

After taking the photo, participants should caption the photo with the hashtag #ErasmusPlus and share it on their own Twitter or Instagram.

Participants will be able to win prizes such as a NIKON D5100 8GB digital camera and case for the first winner and a 16GB WiFi iPad Mini for the next two winners.

The Erasmus Plus Programme concentrates the European Commission's grants for education, training, youth and sport for the period 2014-2020.

Erasmus Plus will have an overall budget of 14.7 million euros, which represents a 40% increase compared to what was allocated to previous programmes. This amount can be increased with the contribution of funds from the European Development Fund or the Development Cooperation Fund, among others.

The new programme, of which 43% of its amount will be dedicated to higher education, sets a number of operational priorities including simplification of procedures and in the allocation of funds.

We encourage you all to participate!!!
