Visit to the Origami Museum of Zaragoza, to see the exhibition on "Mathematics and Origami", with students of Graphic Design and Product Design of the ESDA.
We held a small workshop on folding a design that applied fractal geometry, where the ESDA students had a fun time folding the paper to obtain the result of the designs proposed.
In the exhibition room we have been able to contemplate and have been explained various works of modular origami, tessellations and fractal geometries, as well as other works of sculptural folding.
They also showed us some folding patterns, and told us about the creative process and the various techniques used in origami.
Very positive balance. The students have been confronted with new ways of generating designs using very simple but visually powerful techniques.
