On Thursday 25th October, ESDA organised a visit to the CAIXAFORUM cultural centre in Zaragoza, where the students of the second year of Product Design took part in a workshop on the acoustics of sound. During the workshop, the students were able to experience and test in first person some of the physical phenomena of sound such as propagation, resonance, Chladni figures, the behaviour of low and high frequency sound waves, the auditory spectrum... They were even able to check the myth of the breaking of a crystal glass through sound.
The visit will serve to complement the development of the ADD Project I work and in coordination with the rest of the subjects of the second year of Product Design, in which the students must develop an acoustic amplification device.
