ESDA Social Design Days

Published on 10 May 2022

The Escuela Superior de Diseño de Aragón, ESDA, celebrates for the first time the ESDA SOCIAL DESIGN DAYS. A face-to-face and open event. In these Social Design Days we will reflect on educational intervention in Social Design, Social Innovation and Activist Design. Students, teachers, researchers and other interested entities will share their knowledge and experiences.

For this we have 3 luxury guests: Teresa Franqueira, DESIS International Coordinator from the University of Aveiro, Portugal, Adam Thorpe from the DESIS office and DAC (Design Against Crime) at Central Saint Martins, University of Art London, UAL and Francesco Mazzarella from the Centres for Sustainable Fashion (CSF) at the London College of Fashion, UAL. In addition to this, ESDA has just been accepted as a member of DESIS Network and the SDDS is a perfect occasion to celebrate this.

The event is focused on reflecting on educational interventions and experiences on Social Design, Social Innovation and Design Activism. Students, teachers, researchers and other stakeholders in the city will share their knowledge and experiences.

To these ends, we count on three very special guests, Teresa Franqueira, DESIS International Coordinator (University of Aveiro), Adam Thorpe (DAC, Central Saint Martins, UAL) and Francesco Mazzarella, (Center for Sustainable Fashion, UAL).
