The Babylon's and ESDA at AFW 22. More Design for Social Innovation.

The Babylon's are a collective of performance artists, based in the San Pablo neighbourhood. They are vital and activists for freedom and diversity.

The Fashion Design and Graphic Design students have generated these images by working on form, colour, volumetry and fashion editorial photography. This photographic exhibition pays homage to their energy and struggle.

The exhibition is framed within the context of the Aragón Fashion Week 2022. and are on display in the Patio de la Infanta at Ibercaja during the 3rd week of June.

The work has been carried out as an educational intervention practice in Social Design and Design for Social Innovation taught at the Escuela Superior de Diseño de Aragón (ESDA), which has recently become a member of DESIS (International Platform of Design Schools working on Design for Social Innovation).

Artists portrayed: Myriam Star, Amaranta Benet, Marisa Aulaso, Lauanda McCartney, Alberto Navarro, Vannity Queen and David Arcusa.

Authors: 1st and 3rd year students of Fashion Design, 3rd year students of Graphic Design at ESDA.
