Last month, ESDA photographers from the 3rd and 4th years of Graphic Design photographed 10 works of Fashion Design students from the Escuela Superior de Diseño de Valencia (EASD).
To carry out this work, the students received prior training, which consisted of a talk by Juan Moreno (Popo) and two workshops led by the designer Arturo Guillén with the fashion photographers María Bailac and Luís Cruzado, for which we had 2 models and make-up artists.
The sets were set up in 10 locations throughout the village of Olba in Teruel. Olba is the birthplace of the Aragonese couturier Pertegaz, who was born 100 years ago.
Also in attendance was Robert Royal, portrait and fashion photographer, author of the iconic portrait of Pertegaz, who gave a demonstration with a model dressed in a Pertegaz dress, brought by Pertegaz's relatives for the occasion. Javier Hernández, biographer of the couturier, organised the whole event.
The photos will be published in a joint publication that will bring together the work of the students of both schools.
