CORPORATE IDENTITY CONTEST
V EDITION CORTONA OPEN 3D 2016
"SMART WALLS. THE CITY OF DEATH AND VISUAL COMMUNICATION".
"SMART WALLS. THE WALLED CITY AND VISUAL COMMUNICATION".
Cortona Open 3D is a workshop on Smart City Design to be held from 30 July to 7 August in Cortona (Arezzo, Italy), where you learn how to use an open source software, Blender 3D while designing a project.
The work area is the city of Cortona and its surroundings, an exceptional setting for the production of "Smart" objects and spaces in a traditional context, far from the big technological cities. Smart is the concept needed to change the way we design, to look at the territory, to understand its needs and to dialogue with it.
The theme of this fifth edition is "smart walls. La città murata e la comunicazione visiva" "smart walls. The walled city and visual communication". The theme of the course is the city walls, not as an element of intervention per se, but as a starting point for reflecting on the concept of the wall as a physical, mental and psychological object that conditions visual communication.
