Last Monday, 17th February, took place in the theatre of the Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático y Conservatorio de Danza de Murcia, the award ceremony of the extraordinary prizes of Artistic Education corresponding to the academic year 2018-2019.
The event, presented by Paula Lloret and Oriol Pámies, began with a reception for the authorities and guests enlivened by the Big Band of the Conservatorio de Música de Cartagena and continued with performances by the String Orchestra, the Saxophone Group and a brass sextet from the Conservatorio de Música de Murcia, giving way to the presentation of the extraordinary prizes for Professional and Higher Artistic Education for the 2018-2019 academic year.
In Higher Artistic Education, in the modality of Design, the award went to Ana González ColladoShe currently teaches Fashion at the Escuela Superior de Diseño de Aragón.
The awards ceremony was attended by Ms Rebeca Pérez López, Deputy Mayor and Delegate for Sustainable Mobility and Youth of Murcia City Council, Mr Carlos Albaladejo Alarcón, D. G. for Educational Innovation and Attention to Diversity, Mr Sergio López Barrancos D. G. for Vocational Training, Mr Juan Antonio Lorca Sánchez Director of the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts, Ms María José Martínez Ortiz, Director of the Murcia Region School of Design, and directors of other artistic education centres.
