2nd Ibero-American Forum on Design Research. And two ESDA papers on social design.
The Scientific Committee of the 2nd Ibero-American Forum on Design Research, organised by the Asociación Iberoamérica Diseña, has rigorously evaluated the more than two hundred abstracts received, using a double blind peer review system.
Towards a Model of Social Design Education: From Introspection to Co-creation. A Proposal' has been one of the fifteen evaluated with the highest distinction. It is an outstanding achievement that reflects the effort we invest in design research, specifically in our field of Design Research for Social Innovation (IDIS), and in this case by the ESDA DESIS Lab Core Team (Cecilia Casas-Romero, José Chávez Muñoz, Alberto Franco Gomis, Inés Marco Aguilar and Ana González Collado).
We participated in the Ceremony of Recognition of Outstanding Abstracts by the Scientific Committee, which was held at Casa América in Madrid. The presentation of this research was held two days later at the same venue.
On Friday, Eugenia Pérez de Mezquia and Álvaro Albajez presented a second presentation, also developed within the IDIS field, on the educational intervention in social design "My personal space", in the Juvenile Centre (Education and Internment Centre by Judicial Measure of Zaragoza), with students of Interior Design.
