With this Concert-Marathon for the benefit of migrants in Syria, the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón wants to show society its solidarity with all those affected by this drama and by the difficult times ravaging Africa and Asia, which also affect Europe and the rest of the world. Faced with the events of recent months, the CSMA community, students, teachers, PAS staff, not forgetting friends and supporters of CSMA; we do not want to stop raising our voices to stop the barbarism and impose sanity, and we want to do it with our main weapon: music. We are all exposed to suffering, and as humans we have an obligation to help each other in order to achieve a better, fairer and more united world, where no one can impose any idea by force of arms. Today's event calls for everyone's cooperation, so that everyone can contribute their grain of sand. Today the benefits will go to a stranger, but perhaps tomorrow any one of us could be that stranger. With this we want to inaugurate the "Solidarity Day" of the Artistic Education of Aragon, whose ultimate goal is to be repeated annually for those causes that unfortunately need it. Hopefully one day we will be able to stop doing this, because this will mean that humanity has been able to learn from its mistakes. This concert is organised by the Escuela Superior de Diseño de Aragón and the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón. We are especially grateful for the disinterested collaboration of students, teachers and ensembles of the CSMA. We would also like to thank Juan Carlos Galtier, David Marqueta and Sara Comín for their kind willingness to participate in this event.
