Professor Edu Flores of the Escuela Superior de Diseño de Aragón has been invited in May to give a series of lectures about his experience as an illustrator and as editor of Apila Ediciones in the United States, at the Spanish Cultural Centre in Miami and at the Cervantes Institute in New York.
He spoke about his work and explained the editorial line of Apila, a publishing house dedicated to illustrated albums, which he has been directing together with ESDA teacher Raquel Garrido since 2007. He also explained the relationship between the work they do in the publishing house and the teaching at ESDA.
