Collaboration agreement between the Rey Ardid Foundation and ESDA

ESDA has signed a Collaboration Agreement with the Rey Ardid Foundation, which opens doors to the possibility of doing Social Design for both students and teachers.

The Ramón Rey Ardid Foundation carries out activities aimed at the attention, care and integration of vulnerable people, generating services and environments that facilitate greater personal autonomy, through the efficient management of available resources and placing the person at the centre of all its actions.

Clause 2 of the Collaboration Agreement lists the activities that can be carried out:

"The Escuela Superior de Diseño de Aragón, ESDA and Fundación Rey Ardid will be able to collaborate in activities such as the following:

a) The holding of meetings, conferences and congresses aimed at the exchange of information between specialists, teachers, students and staff of the ESDA and the Rey Ardid Foundation centres in the fields of artistic creativity, design and disability.

(b) academic recognition of their participation as free configuration credits or as complementary academic activities, in accordance with ESDA regulations in activities organised by one or both parties as ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits of free choice.

c) Collaboration in research activities.

(d) The preparation and implementation of training activities aimed at training and raising awareness among ESDA students about the possibilities, abilities and needs of people with intellectual disabilities.

e) The implementation of practices of students.

(f) The joint publication of publications.

g) The dissemination of activities of both institutions, both within both institutions and aimed at the general public.

(h) Collaboration in the design and implementation of artistic projects of scientific, social and cultural interest between the two entities. Such projects may combining the creative work of ESDA students and the work of users.s and students from Fundación Rey Ardid centres.

i) The development of activities and exercises for ESDA students that can be evaluated by ESDA teachers, that fit in with the curriculum established by law and appear in the Teaching Guide of the subject from which they are proposed. Counting on the collaboration and/or participation of the users and technicians of Fundación Rey Ardid or its specialised Centres.

j) Collaboration for the training and development of disability-related content under the parameters of social design and universal design for the proposal of new optional subjects for ESDA students.

k) The cooperation for the implementation of the Bachelor's or Master's Degree Final Projects with the students of the Escuela Superior de Diseño de Aragón, ESDA.
