SPECIFIC ENTRANCE TEST: Part 1

EXERCISE: Representation of a three-dimensional model by applying the language of artistic drawing. Represent the model provided by means of pencil _ B/W

MATERIALS NEEDED: White DIN A-3 drawing paper, pencils of different hardnesses, eraser, pencil sharpener (the paper must be DIN A-3 (297 x 420 mm), without margin lines or notebook holes). The use of a ruler or similar will be penalised.

TO BE ASSESSED:
1. The use of drawing as a skill and resource for analysing, synthesising and representing.
2. Ratio control
3. Fluency and control of the stroke
4. Representation of volume/chiaroscuro.
5. Lace

SPECIFIC ENTRANCE TEST: PART 2 (section A)

EXERCISE: Two-dimensional colour composition with free technique, based on the free interpretation of the proposed model.

MATERIALS NEEDED: The paper and materials will be those appropriate to the technique chosen by the applicant (the paper will be DIN.A-3 (297 x 420 mm), without margin lines or notebook holes). The use of a ruler or similar will be penalised.

TO BE ASSESSED:
1. The quality of the proposed reinterpretation of the model
2. Appropriateness and correctness in graphic communication: background-figure relationship, composition, use of colour, choice, appropriate use of the chosen technique.

SPECIFIC ENTRANCE TEST: 2nd PART (section B)

EXERCISE: Representation of the proposed model by means of systems specific to the language of technical representation.

This test must necessarily be carried out freehand, sketching and dimensioning the views required for its definition, without the
use of technical drawing instruments other than calipers or measuring instruments.

MATERIALS NEEDED: Opaque white paper size DIN A-3 (297 x 420 mm): Basic paper, Major brand, etc. pencil, eraser, ruler or measuring instrument. The examination is to be carried out freehand; the use of a ruler or similar will be penalised.

TO BE ASSESSED:
1. The correct use of equipment.
2. The safe, clear and clean stroke.
3. The correct application of rules and conventions.
4. Use of the drawing to communicate the significant information to be conveyed.

SPECIFIC ENTRANCE EXAMINATION TEST: 3rd THEORETICAL PART

EXERCISE: Analysis of an image

MATERIALS REQUIRED: writing materials (pen, pencil, eraser.....)

TO BE ASSESSED:
1. The ability to analyse the image in relation to formal, functional, ergonomic and compositional aspects.
2. Mastery of language and the ability to critically express the symbolic, cultural and communicative aspects of design.
3. Clarity in the presentation of concepts (order, use of reasoned outlines, etc.).
