The twelfth edition of EncuenTrazos is here and ESDA is dressed up to become, once again, the epicentre of graphic design and illustration.
During the 14th and 15th of March, our School comes alive to host this annual event that brings us the best of creative talent, both national and international, in a unique meeting between professionals from the sector and students from design colleges and art schools from all over Spain.
This year we kick off with a bang on Thursday, with renowned guests such as Querida Studio, whose creativity has shone in projects for giants such as Adidas, Paloma Wool or Dropbox, as well as collaborating with artists such as Troye Sivan, Solange, Rosalía, C. Tangana and Amaia. In addition, we will be accompanied by professionals who are benchmarks in the sector, such as José María Cruz Novillo (together with his son and partner, Pepe Cruz) and Sonia Pulido, both National Design and Illustration Award winners, respectively; recognised for their careers and unique contributions to the world of design and illustration in Spain and beyond.
We will also have other internationally renowned guests such as Catarina Sobral and Canizales, and the participation of key figures in the editorial and creative field, such as Diego Areso, creative director of El País, and Miguel Ángel P. Arteaga, expert in creativity.
We will also have the opportunity to meet new talents in illustration thanks to the Apila Primera Impresión International Award. And, to put the finishing touch, we will close with a typographic safari through Zaragoza with Jara Cordero, exploring the rich typographic tradition of our city.
At ESDA we are excited to open our doors, for another year, to this celebration of design and illustration, inviting everyone to discover and rediscover creativity. Get ready for two days full of inspiration, learning, and lots of passion!
