"On 13 and 14 March 2025, the ESDA DESIS Social Design Days were held again in their 4th edition. International experts in design for social innovation were present: Davide Fassi (Politecnico di Milano), Lorraine Gamman (Central Saint Martins, UAL, London), Francesco Mazzarella (London College of Fashion, UAL, London), Yanki Lee (Hong Kong and Linneus University), Ana Margarida Ferreira (University of Breira Interior, Portugal), Beatriz Bento (NOVA School of Business in Economics, Portugal) and Jazmine Holland (Goldsmiths University of London).

Ralitsa Debrah (Knust University Ghana, Afrika), current International Coordinator of DESIS network, had a last minute problem that prevented her from coming, but she has left us a recording with a summary of her lecture, which will be posted shortly.

Davide Fassi gave an interesting lecture on the social design work being done inside and outside the Politecnico di Milano. There were three workshops, one for students (by Ana Margarida Ferreira) and two for teachers (by Lorraine Gamman, Francesco Mazzarella and Yanki Lee). The students presented the work of the last course to the panel of experts, together with teachers and users of the entities we work with. And, finally, there was a poster-raising event for Peace Activist Design in the San Pablo neighbourhood, which was created by the 3rd year Graphic Design students in collaboration with CADIS Huesca (disability). More than 80 people took part in the event, including children from CEIP Santo Domingo, who turned the event into a party. Because Peace must be celebrated.
