On Thursday 21 February, students from the second and third years of the Interior Design speciality at ESDA took part in an activity proposed as a development of the subject "Research, development and innovation" and "Interdisciplinary projects", consisting of a visit to the exhibition "CASA DECOR 2019", carried out jointly with the Zaragoza School of Art, which began with a bus trip to the building located at Calle Núñez de Balboa 86 in Madrid, where the 54th edition of the exhibition is being held. Decor House.
The exhibition offers a tour of the building, built in 1925, which will be used as an exhibition space for the duration of this edition. It covers an area of 2,250 m² distributed in a semi-basement, ground floor and four upper floors for living spaces and other complementary uses of the exhibition.
Through the different spaces we were able to study the work of various professionals and companies from the Spanish interior design sector participating in this edition, with interventions in 67 spaces in which different interior design proposals are developed, covering various trends, installations and materials.
The trip was used as an opportunity to visit other places of interest in Madrid, such as the exhibition of Jaume Plensa's sculptural work "Invisibles" at the "Palacio de Cristal".
