The Escuela Superior de Diseño de Aragón (ESDA) is celebrating the recognition awarded to Eduardo Flores and Raquel GarridoThe teachers of the centre, who have been awarded with the Arts and Letters Award for Children's Literaturegranted by Heraldo de Aragón with the sponsorship of Edelvives and the Government of Aragon.

This award highlights their extensive professional career as publishers of children's picture books at the helm of Apila EditionsThe publishing project was born as a link between his teaching work and professional practice and, over time, it has consolidated itself as an independent publishing house of recognised prestige, developing its own high quality projects.




The jury particularly values the care for graphic and literary quality, as well as the editorial design of its publications, aspects that allow its books to be distributed in Spanish in Latin America and the United States and, through translations into other languages, to reach different countries and cultural contexts.
This recognition highlights the close relationship between teaching and professional practice that characterises ESDA and reinforces the school's commitment to teaching linked to the reality of the creative and publishing sector.
