Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights

The Intellectual and Industrial Property rights that correspond to being owned by the Educational Administrations or having authorisation for their use are reserved. These rights cover all the elements that make up the graphic design of the website of the Escuela Superior de Diseño de Aragón (hereinafter, "ESDA"): menus, codes, controls and navigation buttons and all the information contained therein, including text, graphics, images, sound and any other material. In the same terms, this protection covers the official corporate image (logo and logotype) of ESDA, as well as any other distinctive sign that appears on the website and the domain "esda.es" itself.

In general, the rights of reproduction, modification, adaptation, public communication, maintenance, correction of errors, transfer, sale, rental, loan and/or any other intellectual or industrial property right that may correspond to the contents of the website are reserved. Any exercise of the aforementioned rights, regardless of the way or form in which they are produced, will require the prior written authorisation of the Education Administration.

The exclusive reservation of intellectual property rights does not apply to content where the licence conditions of some of these rights are explicitly modified. In particular, where coverage under licences is specified. Creative CommonsThe general reservation of all rights specified above shall take precedence over the general reservation of all rights specified above.

Link to other websites and web pages

In the event that the website offers links to other websites and web pages owned by third parties and, although we try to ensure that these third parties meet the appropriate standards, ESDA declines any responsibility for their content or the services they provide and is not responsible for the integrity and veracity of the same.

Links from other websites and web pages

ESDA, in order to allow other pages or websites to link to it, will require compliance with the following rules, subject to a request for linking authorisation by the responsible party:

  1. That the link contains source identification.
  2. That the effect of clicking on the "link button" is communication with the ESDA website and not an incorporation of the contents of the ESDA website into the page in question.
  3. That the corresponding intellectual and industrial property rights are respected, and that ESDA's own distinctive symbols, logos, search engines, etc. may not be incorporated into the page in question.
  4. That, reciprocally, ESDA may establish links from its website to the website in question, if it deems it appropriate to do so.

For non-compliance with these conditions or for other reasons if deemed appropriate, the authorisation may be revoked without any right to compensation or indemnification.

The establishment of links to third party websites does not imply, under any circumstances, the existence of a relationship between ESDA and the owner of the website on which the link is established, nor the acceptance and approval by ESDA of its contents or services.

Exemption from liability

ESDA will make every effort to avoid errors and, if necessary, repair or update them as soon as possible, but cannot guarantee that they do not exist or that the content of the information is permanently updated.

Under no circumstances will ESDA be liable for any possible infringements of intellectual and industrial property that may be committed by any user of the website. Similarly, given the nature of the medium and the possible risks of alteration of content by third parties, ESDA excludes any liability that may arise from the content contained on its website.

ESDA does not guarantee that the website and server are free of viruses and therefore accepts no liability for any damage caused by accessing the website or by the impossibility of accessing it. Neither is it responsible for communication failures, interferences or breakdowns caused by technical or telecommunications services provided by third parties or from external servers.

Applicable law

Both the General Conditions of Use and the Special Conditions, the Privacy Policy and the Cookies Policy followed by ESDA are governed by the Spanish legislation currently in force.
