From the optional subject "Professional album and graphic narrative" we maintain direct contact with the reality of the illustrated book sector and the publishing world through the intervention of professionals such as those who have visited us in recent weeks: Vera Galindo and Cañizales.
We were lucky enough to enjoy a workshop with illustrator Vera Galindo, which allowed us to get to know her work more closely and explore creativity when creating a character through experimentation, daring us to step out of our comfort zone. Let's go for it!
And, on the other hand, the Colombian author and illustrator Canizales, specialised in albums and published in many countries and languages, spoke to us in a close and practical way about his work processes, showing us sketches and stories of the initial phases of various publishing projects and telling us some professional secrets ... Sssssssssh!
