Furniture that combines a seat that is comfortable enough to be used for several hours at a time with an individual work surface. The design seeks to solve users' problems and respond to their needs, specifically this project focuses on meeting the need for an individual workspace in public places such as municipal or university libraries.
In these spaces, it is often observed that the seats are too uncomfortable for long days of study, or the tables are shared by several users at the same time and it is difficult to establish the limits of the surface area that belongs to each one, thus producing an uncomfortable situation. This, together with the situation resulting from Covid-19 and the development of technologies, is one of the factors behind the lack of users in this type of space. This project focuses on the problem detected in the furniture provided in places such as libraries or study centres for adult users.
